Claiming is open from November 11—24. First, check out our awesome r2 prompt viewing sheet—and if you've found a prompt that you're interested in, please read over our rules and expectations so you don't miss out on anything important before you claim. So, click through the cut to read them!!

Claiming
⬣ You will need an email to claim a prompt
⬣ Claiming is first come, first serve
⬣ You will only be assigned one prompt from your claiming form
⬣ We will email you confirmation of your claimed prompt
⬣ You can only claim a second prompt after you post your first fic to the R2 AO3 Collection

Writing
⬣ The final fic must be 1000 words of prose
⬣ Please take note of the "Bonus" and "Avoid" sections of your claimed prompt—even if you cannot follow the Bonus requirements, do try your best to follow the Avoid requirements
⬣ If your prompt contains triggers, tag them appropriately when posting
⬣ The 500 word check-in should be 500 words of prose
⬣ You may post your completed fic onto the R2 AO3 Collection whenever you like before the deadline

⬣ prompt submissions open (nov 3—10)
⬣ claim sheet opens (nov 11—24)
⬣ 500 word check-in (feb 3—17)
⬣ final submissions (mar 23—apr 5)
⬣ posting begins (apr 6)

Other things to note:
⬣ Anyone can claim a prompt!!
⬣ The prompt viewing sheet will always be open for you to claim a second prompt after your first fic has been posted
⬣ To claim a second prompt, email us—the Mods!

Under no circumstances will the emails/identities of participants in the ficfest be shared with anyone outside of us, Mods Tangerine & Clementine. If you see a breach in confidentiality, notify us immediately. The only exception will be author reveals at the end of the fest.
